Common Ground Ministry

Common Ground

Common Ground is a gathering of young adult followers of Jesus Christ designed to engage each person in deep love relationships with God and with one another.  We meet at 10:45 am at the Summit Baptist campus for our learning groups and throughout the week in our caring groups.


We as a community seek to connect with God and one another on three different levels:

1. Community Celebration - One Sunday per month we gather corporately to express our love for God by singing His praises, testifying to His goodness in our lives, and crying out to Him in prayer.
2. Learning Groups - each Sunday morning we gather to explore God's Word in an interactive style that will encourage each of us to help one another live what we say we believe.
3. Care Groups - During the week we gather in tight-knit groups to pursue each other's hearts, to know and be known, looking for ways to include in our community those who do not already know Jesus as their Savior and Friend.

Collegiate Membership

Summit is once again offering Collegiate Membership to our college and seminary students. This special provision allows temporary membership here so that you may serve during your college years. You must have a Collegiate Membership to serve in any of the ministries at Summit. If you are a returning student, you still must attend the collegiate membership class to renew your membership in order to serve. If you are interested in Collegiate Membership, Contact Us .
